“The Past Is Forever”

Rekindling Mars, catching a spark

Heaven’s night, Silverado earrings

Beneath angelless sky

Daydreams now orchids, clouds flower

Abaddon once Aurora’s ocean,

Evermore stone roses

Left Plymouth, if ashen gardens,

Memories of Yesterday’s children

Bloom charnel houses

For ephemera as a girl,

October’s daughter, wishing afore

Silver horses forever

Whose blood mercury and mirror

Twin St. Jeanne’s remembrancers,

Lest sister riviere,

Heirs undead, blessed by afterlife

In their Punchinello’s maquillage,

Carcanets from nowhere

Elsewhere, somewhere is heart fire

Whom chase Eternity’s innocence,

Kiss tomorrow’s absence

Breathe stories from our city, sea

Meanwhile, 1999’s disc sings

Her bird sanctuary
